TA Municipality rejects rabbis’ petition
The Tel Aviv Municipality on Thursday distanced itself from a letter signed by 25 rabbis imploring residents not to rent property to foreign workers and refuge-seekers, saying the city had nothing to do with the initiative and would continue to help the foreign residents.
There is “no other local authority that treats and takes responsibility for the migrant workers and illegal residents of Israel to the extent that the city of Tel Aviv does,” the municipality said in a statement.Click here to read the full story.
